Full Kitchen in our basement
The picture below is the main part of the basement without the lights on so this is just lite by the windows. The tables down here are donated and very heavy units so we request that you do not move them upstairs. The basement seats 75 easily and the small alcove in the back of the room is quite short as it has a step up so it would work to put up a small screen for a project if you need to.
Welcome
A Few Words About Us
We have been in existence since 1999 when the local Masonic Lodge decided to dissolve the Fayette chapter and join the Lodge in West Union. A group of local residence were asked if they would like to take on renovating the building for public meets and events. A committee was formed with a group of people starting out with Rick Hoffmeyer, Jeff Scott, Don and Cindy Carpenter, Rick Klienfelter. There are probably others but these are the people I can remember as being the main core. Coming on later is Fred Klatt, Sharon Orr, and others that if someone can help I will add in more names.
This core group of people spent a lot of time on weekends doing the work of renovating the hall. With labor and fundraising to pay for the materials needed along with accepting donations of both materials and money to get the job done. So that the building look as it does now.
Some of the major projects was a full rewiring of the building, new roof, redoing the flooring in the east end of the building, putting in new bathroom fixtures, painting both the inside and outside that was hired done so fundraising. I am sure that more was needed buy those are just some of the projects that had to be done.
